Find the Closest Safe Place Location

📱 Text SAFE and your location (city, state, or ZIP) to 4HELP (44357).

You will receive a text back within seconds that includes:

  • the nearest Safe Place location
  • contact information for a local youth agency or shelter
  • the option to reply “2Chat” to message with a trained mental health professional

TXT 4 HELP never shares your information, and you do not need an adult with you.

If you want to text with a trained mental health professional, you can go straight to 2Chat.

📱 Text 2Chat to 4HELP (44357).

You do not need to send your location to use 2Chat. A trained counselor will respond and help you:

  • stay safe
  • navigate what’s going on
  • find local help if you want it
  • talk through anything on your mind

Support is always free and confidential.
