Teens that take part in serious acts of violence generally have a lifestyle that involves risky behavior, drugs, weapons, reckless driving, and unsafe sex.  Statistics show that "about 9% of murders in the U.S. are committed by youth under age 18" and that "youth under age 18 account for about 15% of violent crime arrests."
