Welcome to the National Safe Place's site employee training page.
It is critical for every Safe Place site to be prepared to respond to any youth that enters seeking help or safety. This training has been developed after numerous requests and input from Safe Place agencies across the country. Here you will be able to view a brief video presentation that reflects standard operating procedures for handling a Safe Place situation.
Safe Place procedures may vary slightly from community to community. If, after viewing the video, you have questions or need assistance with keeping your site prepared to respond to youth, please contact your local Safe Place agency. If you need further assistance you may contact the National Safe Place office at 502-635-3660 Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M., Eastern.
